Thielke comes to Good Neighbor from VHA, Inc. in Irving, Texas, where she served as senior vice president and general counsel since 2012. In addition to leading the legal services, compliance, risk management, offices services and public policy departments, Thielke represented VHA as a member on the Health Leadership Council in Washington, D.C. Prior to VHA, Thielke was vice president and general counsel at St. Luke’s Episcopal Health System in Houston, Texas during its growth from two to six hospitals. Earlier in her legal career, Thielke practiced health law at the law firms of Andrews Kurth LLP in Houston, Texas and Kegler, Brown, Hill and Ritter in Columbus, Ohio.
Thielke received a bachelor’s degree with honors in nursing from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington, and earned her law degree with honors from The Ohio State University College of Law in Columbus. She is a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel, the Women Business Leaders of the U.S. Health Care Industry Foundation and the Board of Trustees of A.T. Still University.
Tasneem Lokhandwala joined Good Neighbors as Chief Financial Officer in October, 2015. She is a CPA and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Houston – Clear Lake. Tasneem comes with extensive hands-on experience in accounting and finance for both the not-for-profit and for-profit worlds. Prior to joining Good Neighbor, she worked for another Houston-based FQHC as acting CFO. Along with assuming a strategic role in overall management, Tasneem is responsible for planning, implementing and controlling all financial activities at Good Neighbor.
Dr. Stepp comes to Good Neighbor from another local FQHC that cared for an underserved HIV population. She enjoys working in the non-profit environment to be able to truly care for patients who are in desperate need of a dental home. Dr. Stepp received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from University of the Pacific, School of Dentistry in San Francisco, CA and her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA. In her free time, Dr. Stepp enjoys spending time with her husband and her 2 children, swimming, golfing, and being active at her church.
