Centering Pregnancy
Good Neighbor partners with Baylor College of Medicine to deliver the Centering Pregnancy program, a highly effective method of providing prenatal care to women and their families. Women spend more time with their health care provider and with other pregnant women, which gives them a chance to learn more about pregnancy, childbirth and parenting. Check-ups, support and education all take place in a group setting. Every minute of your time will be occupied—not spent sitting alone in a waiting or examination room.
Should you take part in Centering Pregnancy, you will be in a group with several other women whose due dates are close to yours. Over the course of ten sessions, you will have private time with your health care provider before meeting as a group to share questions, concerns and solutions. You won't need to enroll in separate childbirth classes – you will cover everything in your group!
With over 40 years of service to the community, Good Neighbor, a non-profit 501(c)3 United Way agency, provides a full range of high quality primary and preventative health care.
