Our staff and providers take great pride in Good Neighbor and its mission to the community. They are highly dedicated to our clients and work tirelessly to improve the health of each patient they treat.

Janet Donath is a Registered Nurse with a Master’s in Business Administration–Healthcare Management. She has over 20 years of experience in health care, working in hospitals, home health care and hospice care, in addition to her current ten-year tenure as the Executive Director of Good Neighbor Healthcare Center. Ms. Donath is an active participant in both the National Association of Community Health Centers and the Texas Association of Community Healthcare Centers, and works closely with other non-profit health care clinics throughout the area to better meet the needs of the community. Since Good Neighbor attained its status as a Federally Qualified Health Center in September 2005, she has taken even more of an active role in community health activities.
Julie holds an MBA in Management and brings over 20 years of business experience in for-profit and not-for-profit organizations in the U.S. and Asia. Julie's expertise in finance, human resources, office management, administration, advertising, and client relationships helps Good Neighbor meet its mission by providing the highest level of care for patients in every respect. Julie has been with Good Neighbor since 1993.
A 1994 graduate of Dartmouth Medical School, Dr. AhamNeze took her Residency in Family Medicine at Brown University in Rhode Island. She brings a wealth of expertise in Community Health care settings and Family Medicine to Good Neighbor, having helped to establish the Aldine Community Health Center, where she also served as the Medical Director for two years, among many other interesting experiences.

The Prenatal Department is staffed by Baylor College of Medicine Certified Nurse Midwives.
The Optometry Department is staffed by doctors and residents of the University of Houston College of Optometry.
Behavioral Health Services are provided through our partnerships with Family Services of Greater Houston and The Menninger Clinic.
