Good Neighbor partners with Baylor College of Medicine to deliver the Centering Pregnancy program, a highly effective method of providing prenatal care to women and their families. Women spend more time with their health care provider and with other pregnant women, which gives them a chance to learn more about pregnancy, childbirth and parenting. Check-ups, support and education all take place in a group setting. Every minute of your time will be occupied—not spent sitting alone in a waiting or examination room.
Should you take part in Centering Pregnancy, you will be in a group with several other women whose due dates are close to yours. Over the course of ten sessions, you will have private time with your health care provider before meeting as a group to share questions, concerns and solutions. You won’t need to enroll in separate childbirth classes – you will cover everything in your group!
A counselor is available. Please speak with clinic staff about appointment availability.

Good Neighbor Health Care Center is another gem of the Heights. I needed to see a doctor for the flu and I was headed to one of the retail emergency clinic when I passed GNHC and thought what the heck – I’ll try. That was one of the best decisions I’ve made in a long time. Everyone I encountered was strongly committed to making me healthy and keeping me healthy. I have recommended GNHC to all of my friends. I even dragged one over that didn’t want to see a doctor. Turned out, she had pneumonia. My friend now is telling all of her friends about the great care that she received at GNHC. Keep up the good work and thank you.
